I picked up my new certified pre owned X5 the other night from Hunterdon BMW and I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am with my purchase. I must say that the service at this dealership was absolutely fantastic and most of it was attributed to my client advisor, Mike Shamy. I can not say enough about Mike; from the moment I stepped into the dealership, I was taken care of with an extremely high level of customer service. Mike assisted me in coming to my decision, not by being pushy (as I have experienced with other dealerships), but rather by being courteous and respectful of my needs. I appreciate the way he treated me especially because I am only in my early 20’s and have experienced being talked down to or treated as a buyer who is not “serious” at other dealerships. Needless to say, I was very impressed with Mike. Two other individuals who assisted me were Chris Rokosny and Darius Griffin. Both of these gentlemen were knowledgeable and always treated me with the up most respect. Again, I just want to give credit where credit is due. Chris, Darius, and especially Mike are the reason my experience at Hunterdon BMW went so well and the reason I purchased my vehicle from this dealership.

couldn’t be happier
I purchased my first pre-owned vehicle from Hunterdon BMW several months ago and I couldn’t be happier! I bought a 2005 645ci convertible that was really just like new. I received the vehicle in excellent condition, and was dealt with very patiently by both Patty and the sales manager Mike as I waffled back and forth between what (and when) I wanted to buy.
Ultimately, there were several issues with the vehicle after I got it home and they were handled swiftly and conveniently by the dealership. I live about an hour away from them so they met me half-way with a loaner and took the vehicle and repaired or replaced every concern that I had.
The subsequent experiences I have had with the staff at Hunterdon BMW have all been great. Despite the distance, I won’t take the car for service anyplace else! I look forward to making many more purchases from Hunterdon BMW. You can buy from them with confidence!

It really was a pleasure working with Mike Shamy, my Client Advisor. Usually, the process of purchasing a new automobile is stressful and tense. With Mike, it really was a pleasant experience. He offered a competitive price and the negotiations were both professional and respectful. The sales process was not at all high pressure as is the case with some dealerships and I was able to make a decision without feeling like I was under duress. Mike was also very helpful and answered all of my questions completely. In addition, I was impressed at how Mike was able to quickly ascertain what I was looking for in a new car and find me the perfect match. That’s the mark of a good listener and a great salesperson! I would recommend Mike and Hunterdon BMW to others (to that end, I have already recommended Mike and Hunterdon BMW to one person – hopefully they stopped by). I was also impressed at how quickly things were done after the sale (i.e. add-ons, license and registration, etc.). Also, I want to mention how helpful Darius Griffin was with the after-sales process. Darius took the time to fully explain all of the additional packages that were available and really helped me with deciding which ones I should purchase. Darius was also a pleasure to work with and a true professional. Great Job Mike and Darius!!!

second to none
The professionalism and experience at this dealership are second to none. I shopped at a few dealers in the NJ area and found this one to have the friendliest staff of the bunch. Mike Shamy took the time to understand what I was looking for, test drive vehicles during the process, and gave me a very competitive price. I chose Euro delivery which most dealerships didn’t even what to discuss. Mike and the staff and Hunterdon not only took the time to discuss how the ED process worked, they explained how exciting the experience would be. The Euro delivery went smoothly and was absolutely fantastic. Mike kept in touch with me after I dropped my car off in Germany as I waited for my US delivery. As one can imagine the wait was difficult, however, Mike made sure that I knew he was on top of everything and that he was working to get the car delivered to me ASAP. They told me 4-6 weeks for redelivery and the car arrived in 5 weeks. I selected this dealership because I knew from day one I would not just be another sales number and that Hunterdon would be there during and well after the sale. I highly recommend this dealership and Mike to anyone who is interested in purchasing or servicing a BMW!

Dear Mr. Yates,
I wanted to take a moment to express our satisfaction with our car buying experience.
First, back in August we came in unannounced when you were quite busy yet managed to balance your staff between all the customers.
Second, Pattie O’Neal answered all of our questions and responded so fast that we were able to purchase our dream car within a day or two.
Third, I never expected your receptionist to watch over and entertain my daughter with origami so we could focus on the paperwork. I’d classify this level of customer service as un-imaginable today. Oh and those Girl Scout cookies were also well received.
Fourth, I’ve been in for routine service and observed your service staff smiling while talking on the phone to other customers. They obviously know that a smile can make a difference over the phone as well as in person.
Overall I just wanted to provide some very positive feedback about your staff.

Thanks Mike! McCray and Jordan had an extraordinary time! Thank you! I told my best friend about our excursion and she can’t wait to get her car. She is on a temporary assignment in Belize so she will be returning to the U.S. next fall. She went online right after I told her about McCray’s purchase and started picking out her car! Worth the trip
I had been shopping for a new BMW for more than a month and visited three different BMW dealerships before I visited Hunterdon BMW. They are smaller than any of the other dealerships I visited but their customer service made it worth the trip. They matched the best price I had received from the other dealerships and my Salesperson Scott Marlowe was excellent. He handled the whole transaction and worked up my lease payments without any trips to the managers office. The Salesmanager Mike Yates came out and thanked me for my business after I placed the order. The whole process was smooth and no pressure. I can not say that about the other dealerships I visited.
The whole experience was excellent. Scott explained that they won an award from BMW for customer service. I can see why.

I knew they were different
From the moment I walked in to Hunterdon BMW I knew they were different. I had visited both Morristown BMW and Flemington BMW yesterday before going to Hunterdon. The receptionist at Hunterdon (Becky) met me with a smile and summoned a salesperson without any hesitation. I can’t say the same for the other two. The dealership is small but the experience was amazing. My Salesperson Scott Marlowe was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had already driven the car I wanted so Scott got to work on some lease payments and we had a deal put together in 15 minutes. This was the best car buying exerience I’ve ever had. Scott said all of their salespeople have price authority and did not need to go to a manager for approval. I was shocked!
I just thought someone needed to know that buying a BMW in NJ does not need to be a hassle. Go to Hunterdon BMW and ask for Scott Marlowe.
I can not comment on their service department yet but I have to believe that they are going to be just as nice to work with.

Very Happy
I had the most wonderful experience with Hunterdon BMW. Keep in mind there are 2 other BMW Dealers within a 20 mile radius of my home (Open Road and Princeton). After being very displeased with the service at Open Road and the lack of interest to help from Princeton, I sent an email request to Hunterdon BMW about a car of interest. Within minutes, Mike Shamy was calling me on the phone to assist me. I was looking for a new car and to purchase within the next 3-4 months so I was in no immediate rush which I made clear during my first conversation. His eagerness to help made me want to drive the extra miles to go to this dealer. When I arrived, which was after 7pm in the evening, he was more than happy to help, though the dealership was near closing hours. After seeing and test driving the vehicle that night, I was excited that I had found the vehicle I wanted. Mike came in the next day (his day off) and spent the entire day answering questions and working to get the deal finalized. He made the entire process of paperwork simple and before I knew it I was coming in to get my new car. The day I picked up my car, I had the pleasure of dealing with Darius, the aftersales specialist, who thoroughly explained all the additional options and warranties to keep my vehicle worry-free. All-in-all, I have never been treated with more stellar service than my experience at Hunterdon and I encourage anyone who may be browsing for a new or pre-owned vehicle to visit this dealer ship. 5-STARS!!!

I received your letter last week thanking me for my new BMW purchase from your dealership.
I wanted to take a moment and point out that without Scott Marlow, I am not sure this deal would have happened.Scott and I have been trying to do business with Hunterdon BMW for several years (3 car purchases for me…) and I guess third time is the charm. Scott has always been helpful, polite, and open with “what he could or could not do”. And his follow up is impeccable.
I very much appreciate this attitude, as I too am in Sales and see too much “posturing” and “dropped balls” during a sales cycle.
So I just wanted to let you know that Scott is a winner for your team!
I look forward to working with Hunterdon BMW now that I have moved on from Open Road BMW.
Open Road may be a tough act to follow, but I am confident Scott will ensure customer satisfaction if his actions thus far are an indicator of times to come….
